DAY 7: Works Like Magic

As a global community, our relationship with work may of shifted and changed quite recently. Some have been laid off, others have been let go, many are working from their home where others are putting themselves on the front lines. Whatever is your situation, it is imperative more than ever to be grateful for our working life. This also means for people who are caregivers or volunteer their services. Being grateful for your job or situation is crucial to continue to increase anything in your life. How you value your business, home life or work determines the outcome for it to grow and to see more magic in each moment.



Today, your going to release any worries, fears, doubt about your work and replace it with GRATITUDE. You will attract more support, more happiness and beautiful moments to the experience. Even if where you are isn't ideal or not your dream job, the only way up is to be grateful for what you have. In Canada, we are being supported for different lines of work, so a big Thank You for living in a country that recognizes its people and assisting those in need.

Where ever you live, try to look at the bigger picture and you'll start to notice all the little blessings that surround you.


Your practice today is to imagine you have an invisible manager whose job it is to record your thoughts and feelings you have about your work. Each time your manager notices that you are grateful for a particular aspect of your job, they will make note of it. The longer the list they see the more money, opportunities and fulfillment can increase into your life. It is possible that you can find so much to be grateful for your job, that your circumstances can change almost instantly!


Magic Practice #7 Works Like Magic

(Based on the Magic by Rhonda Bryne)


1. Repeat steps 1 & 2 of Day 1: Count your blessings. Make a list of 10 blessings. Write WHY you're grateful. Reread your list, and at the end of each blessing say, Thank you, thank you, thank you (3x), and feel as grateful for that blessing as you can.


2. While at work today (regardless of your circumstance, if your at home, have a business, taking care of your children or elderly, wherever you are of service) >>Imagine you have an invisible manager following you around and recording every time you think of something that your grateful for your work. Your task is to look for as many things as possible to be grateful for.


3. Before you go to sleep, take your magic rock in one hand and say the magic words, Thank you, for the best thing that happened during the day.
